Has just eating a burger containing meat and a slice of chocolate cake, but an hour later you're back feeling hungry? Quiet, you are not alone. Here are 10 scientific reason why you always feel hungry.
According to James Greenblatt, MD, a psychiatrist from the United States and author of the book Answers to Appetite Control, there are many variables that affect the mix of appetite in a person. Include the following:
1. The size of the stomach is bigger than others
Regardless of the size or shape shorts six pack abs, stomach size anatomical differences could explain why you need so much food to make you feel full. Every person has a unique body shapes and different sizes, and this also applies to any other organs.
2. Lots of laughs
According to the study presented at the Experimental Biology Conference in Anaheim, California in 2010, a sense of humor effect on your appetite. Researchers invited participants choose a movie to watch, exciting movie or a funny comedy movie for 20 minutes. Afterward, they measured the hormone ghrelin (a hormone that controls appetite) and leptin (a hormone that sends signals to the brain when the stomach is full).

4. Not skipping breakfast
Results of recent studies on obesity in 2015 showed that those who always have breakfast in the morning, just feel more hungry than those who skip breakfast. This, of course is good news for those who never have breakfast. The results showed that skipping breakfast does not always make you overeat at lunch.
5. Consumption of protein unfulfilled
When you consume a major source of protein, such as chicken breast or yogurt, your body will break down nutrients into amino acids. This then will control your appetite, so will avoid consuming excessive food. If the intake of protein for the body unfulfilled, you will continue to feel hungry.
6. Under conditions of stress
Temporary stress conditions (eg, before the job interview) will usually suppress your appetite. However, sustained stress conditions and constantly it will increase the appetite. Excess cortisol hormone would normally trigger the desire to eat sugar constantly, so you will feel always hungry.
7. Too much consumption of sugar
Did you know that sugar is a natural appetite interfering signals? This is the cause, the more consumption of sugar, the more you feel hungry.
8. Pre Menstrual Syndrome
It is undeniable, sex hormones affect your appetite. The results showed that estrogen plays an important role in regulating appetite and metabolism. Just before menstruation, estrogen levels decrease, which is why you quickly feel hungry and did not want to stop eating carbohydrates, sugar, and salt as PMS (Pre Menstrual Syndrome).
9. Not exercising
Most people think that exercise would make the stomach feel more hungry. However, it is not. One of them with aerobic exercise, exercise lowers ghrelin levels, lowers stress levels that can increase appetite, and increase energy. This exercise will not make you eat to forget themselves.
10. The atmosphere around
Every part of the environment around you can affect the amount of amount of food consumed, ranging from dinner companion, size and color plates, lighting, and so on. Eat with a big plate can make you meet with a plate of food, which means making you eat more food. So, make it a habit to eat with small plates, so you can easily limit your food intake and do not forget the feeling of satiety.
